Incorporated in 1991, the Quinte Children’s Foundation is a registered charitable organization dedicated to education and inspiring our community to effect change and to bring people and financial resources together to improve the quality of life for children and youth who are at risk in Hastings County.
To educate and inspire our community to effect change and to bring people and financial resources together to improve the quality of life for children and youth who are at risk in Hastings County.
In our community:
- NO child or youth will do without
- NO child or youth will fear, and
- EVERY child and youth will have positive experiences & equal opportunities to help them realize their fullest potential in life.
Child &Family Focused
We will always focus on children, youth and the needs of their family. We vow to understand the needs of children in our community and to remember that family means different things to different people.
Integrity & Accountability
The staff and board will be accountable to our stakeholders for the effective and efficient management of the Foundation. It is vital that the community is confident in the transparency and integrity of the decisions made and the people who make them.
Compassionate & Inspirational
Respect, confidentiality, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude guide all of our actions. Quinte Children’s Foundation will always promote hope and the belief that change can and does happen. Inspiring children and youth to reach their fullest potential will be paramount in our programs and activities.
We are committed to the children and families in Hastings County and will work to improve the lives of abused, neglected and at risk children and youth through prevention, enrichment and education programming.
Good Leaders & Good partners
We recognize that our community is best served by organizations willing to work together toward the achievement of common goals. We will participate in whatever role the collaboration is best served by.
